Here at Clayton Cycle Performance we want more than to satisfy our clients. We aim to wow them with our "know-how," progressive thinking, and means to get the job done. We regularly tear into a motor to make it bigger, better and "bad ass" and, as you can see here, we also offer sizzling options for customizing your ride. Customizing your bike is only limited by your imagination and we are here to pass on the possibilities. We were honored when Dickie Clark of Selma, NC left his Ultra Classic with us for such an astonishing transformation. This touring bike underwent a complete change, becoming a true Custom Bagger with custom sheet metal from Klock Werks and Russ Wernimont Designs, Dakota Digital Replacement Guages, Chromite Cables, Performance Machine Wheels, and new paint. This turned out to be a rewarding opportunity for us. The sleek red paint on this bike is brilliant in the sunlight as it contains crushed glass--not metallic flakes. Paint & bodywork by Ham's Paint & Auto Body.

Custom Fender, Wheel, Rotors...

An area with great visual impact on this bike is the front end. We installed a Klock Werks Benchmark Front Fender on a 21" Performance Machine Roulette Wheel with matching Performance Machine Roulette Rotors. The Rotors are 13" in diameter instead of the stock 11 1/2". This allows for increased stopping power over stock. Also installed are Performance Machine six piston calipers.

Stylish Air Cleaner Kit

It not only looks great but the Roland Sands Designs Venturi Air Cleaner is highly functional. This kit includes a high-volume K&N air filter & all mounting hardware. Its five-spoke exposed filter design enhances air flow and the backing plate promotes smooth airflow into carburetor/throttle body. It has built-in internal crank case breathers. Available in Contrast-Cut (below) and Chrome (to the right.)

Sleek Saddlebag & Fender Extensions

Klock Werks WFB Saddlebag Extensions, Double Cut for Tru Dual Exhaust. Saddlebag Extensions have a wider lip for better adhesion to new plastic saddlebags. Styles available for hidden exhaust, 2-into-1 and true duals. These are used to create the stretched smooth look that Klock Werks baggers are known for. Fiberglass construction with a gel-coat finish. Very easily bonded to any 93-08 factory FL model with hard saddlebags.

Russ Wernimont Designs Rear Fender Extension with Filler Panel extends the fender 4” over OEM. Extension & Filler Panel are heavy 18-gauge raw steel construction and designed to fill in and extend the rear of the fender for a street glide look

J & M Speakers (below)

Such a stylish bike requires excellent sound. We replaced the stock speakers with J & M Fairing Speakers. These 5” high-performance speakers are direct replacements for factory speakers and feature waterproof cones and high-efficiency voice coils.

LED Rear Lighting & Chrome Exhaust Caps

This sharp lighting system comes from Kuryakyn. This is the laydown Panacea tail light and it illuminates the license plate as well. It plugs into OEM wiring on 96-08 Softail (except FXSTD, 05-08 FLSTN and FLSTS), 97-08 FXD, 97-08 FLT and 99-03 XL models. This tail light/blinker combination performs the function of run/brake light and turn signals. It has over 300 LEDs which make you more visible. You will also notice the Deluxe Bullet Rear Turn Signal/Light Bar Kit which gives the rear fender a clean and uncluttered look. Kit includes Küryakyn's Bullet Light rear turn signal bar, curved license plate frame and rear bar accent to hide the stock mounting holes. Also pictured are the Panacea Rear Turn Signal Inserts. When brakes are applied, turn signals give a three-pulse “flash” and then stay bright red; amber turn signal will continue to flash when the brakes are applied. Turn signals are red in standard running mode; LED flashes amber when turn signal is selected.

Continuing with the chrome look we replaced the Rinehart signature black exhaust end caps with chrome ones.

Custom Seat & Gas Tank

SaddleGel™ is added to RWD's Protour Seat for increased comfort during long rides. The Protour is a "rounded" seat with a full passenger seat area. Custom seats designed to fit with Russ Wernimont FL Gas Tanks (PART #s 0701-0126, 0701-0127, 0701-0189, 0701-0190, 0701-0318, 0701-0319, 0701-0320, 0701-0321.) Seat made by Saddlemen™, seat features the soft leathery texture of SaddleHyde™.

Also, in this picture, RWD's Gas Tank for the Dresser. 03-07 style fuel-injected tank accepts the stock OEM fuel-pump assembly and uses a L96-08 non-vented gas cap. Tanks have an approximate 6-gallon capacity. One-piece tanks feature a 3” stretch. Now available in 17 1/2” or 20 1/2” widths. Curved bottom for a custom look. Factory sealed powder coat primer on the inside of tanks. Includes a raw dash panel that replaces the existing dash.

Gas Tank, Dash Panel and Pop Up Gas Cap

Here is another view of RWD's Gas Tank for the Dresser. Take note of the custom dash panel and the pop-up gas cap. Vented and non-vented style gas caps are available to fit early and late-model screw-in style tanks. Billet aluminum construction that is polished and chrome-plated. The fit is nearly flush when closed and it opens easily with just a quarter-turn of the center of cap.

V-Shield Horn Cover

This horn cover has a beautiful chrome finish and is designed for horns that are located between the cylinders.
